It always brightens up my day to hear a little Bueno Vista Social Club before hopping on the train.

Note the shelf lined with cheese. This is goat cheese made from goats that were just around the corner. Goat cheese is very popular in this region and used in all sorts of dishes and desserts (one I liked in particular included candied squash and walnuts).
They could really use some of these in BA. No one cleans up after their dogs. One definitely needs to beware if they dare to wear flip-flops.
I toured the palace and checked out the gardens.
This is Riley.
Riley pretty much lies around all day like Mandu. We go for walks and runs in Regent's Park which is just a few blocks away. Very sweet dog. He looks a bit depressed in this picture. He usually looks like this.

Mandu is his name, as in Katmandu, a Himalayan, get it? He pretty much lies around purring. Very sweet. Sometimes coughs up hairballs.

it really is a lively place to visit, but best avoided if you are tired or not up for people getting angry with you for not buying their cheap crap.
